    BNSME invites local college students to join us for a special event with presentations by BNSME members who specialize in business, sales, and marketing.   

     - Learn real world “keys to success” not always revealed in textbooks or classroom discussions.
     - Polish their networking skills.
     - Make contacts for future internships and professional job opportunities.
     - Attend an optional dinner presentation by John Tebeau, the president and publisher of Buffalo Business First and Bob LaPointe, president and founding partner of OnCore Media.  About the  presentation:

John Tebeau, former content manager for national publications and the new publisher of Buffalo Business First, along with Bob LaPointe, president and founding partner of OnCore Media, will review a few key elements and short cuts that will help you attract, retain and build trust with a clearly defined audience — and, ultimately, drive profitable customer relationships. to gain a deeper understanding on communicating effectively in business settings.

    John Tebeau, president and publisher for Buffalo Business First, spent the early years of his career in media planning working on various brands including Red Lobster, Coca-Cola USA, The Prudential, Citibank and Smirnoff Vodka. In 1995, he began his publishing career at Times Mirror Magazines at Field and Stream and Outdoor Life as East Coast sales manager. He was promoted to Time Inc. East Coast corporate sales director in 2001 and to advertising director for Popular Science in 2003.
    In 2005, he joined Munsueto Ventures as associate publisher of Inc. Magazine, where he oversaw multi-platform sales. He was named group publisher in 2007, a title he held until 2014 when he and partners launched OnCore Media, a content marketing company specializing in business-to-business solutions.

    Bob LaPointe is the president and founding partner of OnCore Media, a strategic B2B content marketing services firm based in Boston, MA. OnCore Media works with and for Fortune 1000, mid-market and privately held growth companies. Bob is former president and CEO of Inc. Magazine, and Inc. Business Resources.
